Drawing was his life. He was a modest man, yet sophisticated, witty, tolerant, softhearted, but he disputed injustice!
He worked for a rather nationalist Flemish satirical paper, but he had a (progressive) mind of his own.
He was always bantering and making gestures in a pythonesque manner. As kids, we were totally attracted to him, hilarious entertainment guaranteed. Observe the archness in his rascal eyes!
In 1981, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer, so all who knew him had to miss his beautiful mind. He passed away on August 9, 1995.
