Thanks for your nice comment. The robot was inspired by an old 1950's movie which featured a robot with a similar style. It's kind of an iconic robot model which is kind of dated now.

The woman in the cartoon was inspired by a neighbor of mine and hopefully her model will not go out of style anytime soon.

In the 21st century robots are everywhere and some predict that soon they will be as common in our homes as cats and dogs. We can only hope that when that day comes robots will arrive already house broken.
