Well, it's a crucial topic. It is black humor, but I think it doesn't harm anyone. Maybe the swine flu is a welcome topic for the media to distract the people from the real problems, especially in the USA, once again.

In the one point I agree with you: it's a cartoon.
Cartoons don't have to show the truth. (Never have seen a flying pig. ;-)
In my opinion a cartoon is worth drawing as long as there's a chance that it makes people a) laugh, b) think or c) maybe even both.
This one is a bit of black humour, I must admit, but in a kind of way it allows people do deal with their fears - by laughing about the threat.
