Enjoy the World of Cartoons

Jeremiah Wright was lambasted in the press because Americans' inability to endure strong preaching. The idea follows Jesus' address to the Pharisees when he called them a "brood of vipers". Three serpents are pictured to represent ABC, NBC, and CBS, three blind guides (or three blind mice). National network news is little more than gossip and these three have done nothing to enlighten the public about the perceived truth or falsity of Wright's speech. Unfortunately, many in the United States are satisfied with a daily dose of sham journalism and don't demand more accountability and better reporting from the news media. So a small dose of criticism is amplified into an attack on the country by drones wrapped in flags, steeped in patriotism, turning blind eyes away from real tyranny that has gone as far as to turn rat-fink on their own soldiers (Plame). Ain't it great to live in America.
