Enjoy the World of Cartoons

The next time I write in a cartoon character for president, I must remember to check with the local board of elections to verify the number of votes that character received. The one thing I like about the lottery idea is that you would reasonably expect to receive a ticket as proof of purchase. I think we should receive the same thing when we vote, a receipt. Then we would have a way to make sure our vote really counts.

Maybe there should be a new lottery. Win the president title for one year. It would be somehow democratic. With all the consequences...
