The sun sets and sinks into the dim ocean. Two shadows embrace tenderly and savour - in joyous expectation - the romantic spectacle. Tinkling eroticism one might think: a couple alone on a remote island in the vesper tine nowhere. This is yet another abstruse idea from the Brazilian cartoonists Junior Lopes. The man is nestled into a palm tree, whose obviously suggestive knothole he will soon be giving his loving and extensive attention. A frivolous joke at the expense of commercial romance – carefree and brazen.
