benheine :health for your hands..
My home land shall be free.
We are coming from it.
dear artist:Like you to share with drawing that day
Free men philosophy said that. Without reference to those funny Legendary Religious theories!!
This applies to all of religions fanatics & Extremists ...Zionists as Hamasists as well.this is the right logic.
Because we respect Jewish as a religion; not as a reason to invent homelands on the territory of others.
Our coming back would not require thousands of years!

Just for fun: You may deny the aggression part, but you can't deny the violence part. This would make the "people's struggle for independence" still "unacceptable" in your logic.

On a more philosophical level: Isn't it sad, that we just replicate the Middle East conflict in our words and comments? There are those that violently condemn Israel's actions on one side and those that think that the argument of the other party is one-sided on the other side. (For some reason, there aren't any people on tp who are totally pro-Israel). And there seems no way that both parties can really talk to each other without resorting to accusations, let alone communicate or come to new insights.

You make the Palestinians look like victims. And it is true that many are victims. However, they are just as much victims of their own corrupt government (Fatah) and of the religious extremists in their society (Hamas) as they are of Israel. The Palestinians who are innocents and peaceful people are truly victims of many forces that they cannot control. Israel must deal with constant aggression from certain parts of the Palestinian society, who insist on breaking any peace agreement by firing rockets, which can kill, into Israel. To be sure, the Israeli military is sometimes guilty of over-aggression and of actions (like bulldozing homes) that do more harm in terms of creating enemies than the good they do in deterring Hamas. But, how about creating an image to commemorate Israeli victims of Intifada bombings? We must not glorify the Intifada. Palestinian murder of innocents is no more honorable than Israeli aggression. It is important to recognize that their are victims on both sides of any conflict, and also aggressors on both sides of the conflict. I do not see any images among you work showing Israeli victims or Palestinian aggressors. Why?

The Lost Generation of Palestine

By Hiyam Noir

Children - of second Intifada - live in despair
immeasurably deep cavity - seared by violence
overpowered of grief- cut off - from the world
inside segmented - by barriers - checkpoints
Israelis - ripped up a home
deprived a child - of Freedom

the young ones - no longer - children - eyes faded
expression of rage - no inner peace - a life of waiting
to be fuel - for the struggle
since very small - interrupted dreams
silence - anxiety - large fears - no trust
watching settlers- soldiers - guns - tanks - drones

arrested - holding a stone - sacrify of youth
waiting - to be fuel - for the struggle
a generation - of children - Shaheeds for Allah
unambiguous - stymied distress - lost youth
wasted and empty - shortened life
a deep scar hurts - eternal resistant

exposed - to the world
to political games - to Israeli rape
of childhood - of youth - lost is faith
in a brutal struggle - time has stopped
outside world - is growing ahead
Intifada children - growing backwards
for every - gloaming day
permanents - the sorrow inside

when Israeli tanks
rolled over a school-yard
the sounds of - Apache and F-16s
killed - the singing sparrow
that day- the hate - was fueled
on the ground - shattered remains
of school books - pages are lost
and all children can see
long strands of brown hair
traces of flesh hangs
up there - in the tree

children - of second Intifada - live in despair
immeasurably deep cavity - seared by violence
overpowered of grief - cut off - from the world
inside segmented-by barriers - checkpoints
Israelis - ripped up a home
deprived a child - of Freedom
