Selected Cartoon
Cavoon
The first cartoons were presumably created on cave walls and should probably be called "Cavoons": pictures of prey such as aurochs and prehistoric horses. Hunting scenes from the late Pleistocene, that depicts the painfulness of everyday life. Obviously desires for a better and more comfortable life arise. Marcin Bondarowicz discovers the source of all visionary art: charcoal used by the first humans to create the blue print of a beautiful world. But what emerges from it? A boring maisonette style apartment with square ankles, staircases and an open plan kitchen. Are these our most secret desires? Imprinted into thousand-year-old genes? This great cartoon has the power of a magazine title.
