Hey! Das ist Alanya!
Wenn ich das Bild so sehe schäme ich mich ja fast, dass dies mein liebstes Urlaubsziel ist.....
Aber gerade für diesen Ort trifft das Bild absolut zu! Dort geht Tourismus über alles.

This is utterly brilliant, however I see it as something perhaps less sinister than killing nature or history. For me this represents the concept of how some people try to capture reality without really experiencing it.

It represents to me the idea that tourism is not about getting to know a place but rather collecting it as photograph, a kind of digital collectible like just another cheap souvenir.

A very good picture - put it to my favorites. But on the other hand I think - at the first look the tourists are the enemy image, but on second look rather the people that plan the hotels the way they do and make quick profit at cost of culture and nature are the root of the trouble...
