Well, as you can see, at this moment the rating of the next cartoon is very close to this one, hence the "top" cartoons are moving very fast with the slightest rating changes. As users proceed to rate, the cartoon moves very fast into the background and can get back as well. Just a question of mathematics.
There were hot discussions on toonpool: are cartoons rateable? Of course they're not. It's just a manner of the individual taste. But our rating system is able to move cartoons on the index page to provide a changing, fresh collection of great cartoons.
