Everything radiates
A new day on earth, time for the waste disposal. The blazing sun is reflected in the impermeable window wall of the skyscraper, while the bin men are casually and routinely disposing the waste into the bin lorry. Just now someone brings by a piece of nuclear scrap. Just put it away, wonderful - orderliness is godliness!
The world has already seen and coped with a lot - surely there is still room for some nuclear waste, it just swallows everything. For Oguz Gurel, a highly productive cartoon artist from Istanbul, the world has to swallow everything. It is a sick planet, which suffocates in its own dirt, only to stink almighty to high heaven. A heaven that is no longer heavenly, but looking sadly befouled, rattling along, carrying coughing clouds.
