In France (and, i guess, in some other places too), Caterpillar is planning a redundancy plan where around 700 people will loose their job. I know the case is not the only one, but it became some kind of an exemple here...

La France en berne

Based on a song by the Cowboys Fringants called "En berne" (you may traduce "Half-Mast"), which says "If this is the modern Quebec (that i scratched to replace by "France"), then i half-mast my flag, and i fuck all the jesters that are governing us".

"C'est quand même hallucinant ce que des textes écrits au Québec pour des Québécois peuvent coller à une actualité bien française...", c'est ce que je me disais en réécoutant les Cowboys Fringants sur le chemin qui me menait à leur concert. La plupart de leurs paroles, pour peu que l'on comprenne les maudites expressions de joual qu'ils crissent dans leurs tounes, sont en effet applicables à la France. Preuve en est, sur leur dernier album "L'Expédition", les paroles de la chanson "Histoire de pêche" décrivant le déclin de l'industrie de la pêche canadienne, qui après des années de surexploitation de la morue, voit ses "stocks" diminuer en masse. Changez simplement la morue en thon, et vous avez la situation de la pêche européenne... C'est aussi ça la mondialisation, le partage des absurdités, des mauvais choix et de leurs conséquences.
Bref, on va dans le mur, mais on y va tous ensemble... Youppi !

Sinon, en parlant des Cowboys Fringants, n'hésitez surtout pas à consulter leur site, à acheter leurs albums, (moins chers si vous les achetez au Québec directement) dont une partie des bénéfices est consacré à la reforestation du Québec, à adhérer à la fondation Cowboys Fringants et à aller les voir en concert (vous planterez des arbres, si, si), ce n'est que du bon !

The purpose was to take the drawing of a kid, and to re-draw what we saw in this drawing. In this case, i of course saw Mr Spock dancing Disco with the cape and the belt of Elvis, keaping on the leash in his left hand the bat of his friend Ozzy Osbourne. Obvious, isn't it ?
