I don’t consider myself a pure conservative, but I do consider myself a mourner in the demise of common sense, and political correctness makes me barf. If that shifts my cartoons to the right, then that’s where I am.
I don’t plan to stop cartooning, even if all my papers fired me. It’s not something I do by choice anymore… it’s some kind of genetic flaw and I have to have a fountain pen and a piece of paper nearby or go fetal in a corner somewhere.
