"Whom Thus the Prince of Darkness Answered Glad"

Why is Peter Mandelson considered to be the 'Prince of Darkness'? Since this cartoon came out and Mandelson's arrest, reuploading this one has been more relevant than ever. If you're wondering, the title and approach is based on John Milton's 'Paradise Lost', where 'Prince of Darkness' refers to Satan.
