The War in Afghanistan began on October 7, 2001,[30] as the armed forces of the United States of America and the United Kingdom, and the Afghan United Front (Northern Alliance), launched Operation Enduring Freedom, invading the country, in response to the September 11 attacks on the United States, with the stated goal of dismantling the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization and ending its use of Afghanistan as a base. The United States also said that it would remove the Taliban regime from power and create a viable democratic state.

The U.S. and OTAN impose democracy is that of torture, looting, impunity, corruption, racism, destruction and death.

though nobody has any doubt about the real motive of the Western imperialists led by the nasty Americans in their homicidal wars in the Middle East we don't see any kind of anti-imperialist movement worth its name emerging there; instead what we have seen was the demand for establishment of multi-party electoral democracy in the place of the dictatorial regimes - a slogan that was readily applauded by the very same imperialists who murdered it in Chile on 9/11/1973; is it because of the dominance of the religious fanaticism?
