Today, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek and said Türkiye-Russia relations were at their "most advanced" level. They discussed expanding nuclear cooperation, including new power plants beyond the Russian-built Akkuyu plant. Putin called Türkiye a "privileged partner".
