Yes, I agree with this, but on the one hand it is the people do not understand, but on the other hand, but perhaps understand but there is not the appropriate intellectual where it will guide the citizens to be real citizens, with politically critical thinking, and not individuals (as non-participants in the public) in front of social issues. An ancient saying says that politicians should become philosophers or philosopher politicians.
