In Greece, there are farmers' protests because the Greek government did not give them the subsidies they were entitled to. Beyond that, they are killing the sheep (about 500,000) due to a sheep disease called pox, and they refuse to take measures such as vaccines. Of course, the aim is to eliminate livestock farming and the well-known crops, and to turn to flour made from worms and insects and to modified synthetic products. It is known that cows defecate a lot, and this results in an increase in carbon dioxide. Some countries (2024) have adopted this. Denmark agreed to implement the world's first taxation of agricultural emissions, including animal gases, after months of negotiations between the country's major parties, farmers, the cattle production industry, unions, and environmental groups.
